This Privacy Policy explains how LiZug LLC collects, uses, stores, processes, transfers, discloses, and protects personal information. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Consent to process Sensitive Personal Information is handled separately, through the Sensitive Data Consent Notice, not through this Policy alone.
LiZug may collect: account information, profile information, photographs, communications, assessment responses, compatibility reports, religious information, emotional and behavioral information, relationship preferences, device information, IP addresses, cookies and analytics data, payment data for individual report unlocks and Shidduch Check couple report transactions, user-generated content, metadata, and usage analytics. Some collected information constitutes Sensitive Personal Information under applicable law, including the Rhode Island Data Transparency and Privacy Protection Act.
LiZug may use information for: compatibility analysis, report generation, AI and algorithmic processing, account administration, fraud prevention, customer support, safety monitoring, analytics, research, legal compliance, platform improvement, service-related communications, and operational purposes. LiZug does not use Sensitive Personal Information for targeted advertising and does not sell it.
LiZug uses automated systems including algorithms, predictive analytics, and AI systems to generate compatibility insights. LiZug does not use these systems to conduct matchmaking or produce matchmaking recommendations; it is not a matchmaking service. Such outputs may be imperfect, subjective, incomplete, or inaccurate, as described in the Terms of Service.
LiZug may share information with service providers, payment processors, analytics providers, legal authorities where required, during business transfers, and with affiliated operational providers. LiZug does not share your assessment responses or compatibility report with any shadchan, matchmaking platform, or other third party. Your report is made available only for you, and where applicable your partner, to download. If you choose to share your downloaded report with anyone, that sharing is your own action, done outside the Platform, as described in the Report Download Acknowledgment and the Terms of Service. LiZug does not sell personal information.
Information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. By using the Platform, you consent to such transfers subject to applicable law.
LiZug retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for compatibility report generation, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, operational integrity, business purposes, and enforcement of agreements. LiZug may retain backup copies and archived records where reasonably necessary.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, object to processing, obtain a portable copy of, and opt out of certain processing of your data. If you are a Rhode Island resident, these rights are provided under the Rhode Island Data Transparency and Privacy Protection Act. You may exercise these rights, and revoke any consent previously given, by contacting support@lizug.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we will honor a revocation of consent within fifteen (15) days. If we deny a rights request, you may appeal by replying to our denial with "Appeal" in the subject line, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. Requests may require identity verification. Certain legal exceptions may apply.
LiZug implements commercially reasonable administrative, organizational, technical, and physical safeguards. However, no system can be guaranteed fully secure. Users acknowledge risks inherent in internet communications and online platforms.
The Platform is not intended for users under 18. LiZug does not knowingly collect information from minors.
Users may receive service-related communications, notifications, and updates necessary to operate their account. Users may opt out of any non-essential marketing communications at any time.
LiZug uses cookies, analytics tools, and tracking technologies for the purposes described in the Cookie Policy.
LiZug LLC is the controller of personal data processed through the Platform. Contact: support@lizug.com.
LiZug may update this Privacy Policy prospectively. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised policies. Material changes affecting how Sensitive Personal Information is used will be accompanied by a renewed specific consent request where required by law.
