For over two decades I have worked as a business coach with Jewish professionals and families. In that work I discovered something that surprised even me - the most common obstacle to business success was not strategy or market conditions. It was what was happening at home.
Again and again, in the middle of conversations about leadership and growth, the real struggles would surface. Marriage. Shalom Bayit. Two good people, two committed Jews - who somewhere along the way realized they never truly understood each other before the chuppah.
I had been using the DISC behavioral assessment and other psychological frameworks with my business clients for years - helping them understand how they communicate, how they lead, how they handle conflict and pressure. I began applying these same tools with couples and singles. The results were remarkable.
When people finally had the language to understand themselves and each other, everything changed. Conflicts that felt inexplicable suddenly made sense. Patterns that had caused years of friction became manageable. And singles who understood their own profile could finally articulate what they needed in a partner - not just what they wanted.
LiZug was born from those conversations. Eight assessments - the same frameworks used by relationship professionals and business coaches worldwide - built into one platform and applied for the first time specifically to Orthodox Jewish marriage compatibility.
I built LiZug because I could no longer watch wonderful people struggle in their marriages or their search - when the tools to help them already existed.
You cannot know who you are compatible with until you know who you are.
